The purpose of the Fundació Ledor Vador, as established in the sixth article of its founding statutes, is the study, promotion and dissemination of Jewish History, Art and Culture, understood in its broadest sense, with special attention to its development and peculiarities specific to Mallorca.

Ledor Vador is a Hebrew expression that means 'from generation to generation'. It encapsulates the idea of transmitting memory, culture, identity, and values over time, keeping alive a legacy that connects past, present, and future.
OUR MISSION
A space for meeting, learning and dialogue
The Fundació Ledor Vador was born as a Jewish cultural association open to meeting, learning and disseminating the history, traditions and richness of Jewish heritage from Mallorca.
Our purpose is to create a space for coexistence, learning, and dialogue where Jewish culture can be shared, celebrated, and understood by people of all ages and backgrounds.

Ledor Vador organizes cultural activities designed to bring Jewish tradition closer to Mallorcan society and create spaces for encounter among people interested in history, culture, and memory. Our program combines informative, social, and educational initiatives, always from an open and participatory perspective.

Meetings with specialists, historians, writers and researchers to delve deeper into Jewish culture, Sephardic history and the legacy in Mallorca.
