The Ledor Vador Foundation begins its activities with a visit to the Maimó Ben Faraig Centre and Palma’s Jewish Quarters

The Ledor Vador Foundation has held its first activity with a visit to the Maimó Ben Faraig Centre and the historic Jewish Quarters of Palma, two key places for gaining a deeper understanding of the history and legacy of Mallorca’s Jewish community.

This first visit marks the beginning of a new stage for the Foundation, focused on the recovery, preservation and promotion of the Jewish historical and cultural heritage of the Balearic Islands, as well as on creating spaces for knowledge, encounter and dialogue.



The tour gave participants the opportunity to discover some of the places connected to the Jewish presence in Palma and to explore an essential part of our history that still deserves to be better known and more widely shared.

With this first activity, the Ledor Vador Foundation begins a journey aimed at keeping memory alive, bringing it closer to new generations and helping to ensure that this heritage remains an active part of our culture and our city.
